I was the lucky recipient of a Red Letter Day as a birthday present and chose a Ferrari driving day - a long term dream. We decided to travel from Yorkshire the night before and booked at The Kegworth Whitehouse Hotel via the web. I knew nothing of the hotel and judging by price and location expected a standard 'motel' set up with basics and not much more! I was very wrong! We were delighted with the whole hotel, including a very comfortable room and the good standard of decor and furnishings. We had expected to go out for a meal but stayed in and, after a couple of drinks at the excellent bar, we found a wide choice of food in the restaurant and were glad we chose to eat in. A friendly team of staff completed the enjoyment and we have already mentioned the hotel to friends in the East Midlands area. We will return at some stage in the future. |
